Joe for your information I do happen to read REAL books...you claim to read "do it yourself" is that what the phonics books are called now days. Actually my favorite author is V.C. Andrews. I have laid off on reading alot of the books since she has died and her family has taken over in her writings...It truly does not stand up to her writings. Another one of my favorite authors is Dean Koonz. I have read ALL of his books except for the last two he has put out. I read books late at night when I am bored with the computer and cannot sleep...which is quite often, so I end up reading 3-4 books a week. Eat them worms Joe!!!

I enjoy reading. It may not be real brain builder material. but I am currently on a western kick. Nothing better than reading about the old west (At least in the author's mind of what the old west was like). I have been reading these for about 4 months now. Prior to that, I had read all of patricia Cornwell's Dr Kay Scarpetta novels, as well as the entire John Grisham library prior to painted house. There is a neat little book by Mitch Albom(sp), who is a sports writer for the Detroit paper, entitled The People You Meet in Heaven (or something like that) which was really enjoyable(not a religious book, before you ask). And I actually hate to admit this, but I read an Oprah book of the month entitled "Night". Pretty heartwrenching stuff there. Thankfully, I can say that I have not cracked the spine on a single Harry Potter book, as most adults should be able to admit to...hopefully.
