Abuse of position???

Ok just wondering if anyone else has run into this situation. Saturday while hanging out at a Lansing drinking establishment the hosts live bands. I bonded with a group of people around the billiards table. Drinks were many but judgement SEEMEd to be in check. When at the end of the nite (last call) while playing a younger gentleman a round of billiards (which he lost). The young man asked if I would like to see a "Trick Shot" The guy picks up two billiard balls...(now this is where it just got stupid) TWO doormen rushed over to the table and accused the young man of trying to STEAL the billiard balls and Forcefully snatched them back and slammed the balls in to the table's pockets. Now the two women that were present as well as I was shocked at the doormens behavior. So I got closer to hear the conversation that ensued.(which of course attracted the attention of one of the doormen) The young man asked the doormen what they were all about, only to have the doormen circle him, all the while screamming at him saying that he was being loud.(which wasnt the case at all)(he just wanted an explanation, as did we all) Suddenly the doorman facing the young man, grabbed the mans beer and aggressivly informed the guy that he was done and leaving. (now the funny part) I observed that although the doorman had the young man's beer mug with two hands, he couldnt wrestle it from the young mans single hand. Now while all this is occuring the two ladies and I are also asking the doormen what actual offense has happened and what was with all the aggression. We were all totally ignored. Thats when the second doorman that was behind the young man grabbed the guy from behind and the two of them proceded to wrestle the guy from the establishment. And after 5 minutes the one doorman came back to announce that "our friend was waiting for us outside" The two ladies and I ignored the doorman and approached the bar to fine the General Manager for some kind of explanation and to complain about the doormans behavior...(Now the just plain stupid part) The GM wasnt in attendence at the time. A bartender came over and informed me that the acting manager was in a foul mood and it wouldnt be a GOOD ideah to disturb her right now. I laughed it off and the two ladies (who vowed to never return) left the establishment.

When did life shift to where the people who have been drinkin and have had their judgements impaired, retain the ability as well as the will to handle situations in a better manner than the people whos actual position is to safegaurd the patrons themselves. I welcome any questions that anyone reading this post whish to ask.

Wow , this is very similar to a situation that happened to me (as my friend Henry put it) in a Lansing drinking establishment.....(geez Henry just say BAR!)
Anyway,same judgement and actions were taken on me....got banned from the place. I'm not gonna say which establishment ($).

It couldnt have been Double Duece... I know the owner and quite a few bikers that go in there (besides bikers are soft and sweet like a teddy bear)... Give me the name of the place and I will make sure I dont go there! Gotsta have a cool place to go!!!

I can't believe that happened to you!!! Please tell me the bar because I go out A LOT and I do NOT want to give mine and my friends money to an establishment (that's BAR for JOE) that would act in such a ridiculous manner!!! What bar did you get into a ruckus at, Joe? You never told me about it. Anyway, I would LOVE to know what's in Joe's pants. If anyone ever finds out, hollar at me lol
