I just wanted to jump in here and tell you all about the Landmark forum. I am a friend of Joe's and some of you know me.

I found the landmark forum through my brother who got it from his wife who got it from her friend, Molly, in California.

The Landmark Forum is a life EXPLODING experience that, I think, should be shared by everyone on Earth.

It is a three day seminar that will give you a major shift in your life. Landmark accurately describes this shift as a "transformation."

The best way to describe the transformation is through an analogy. Don't worry if you can't fully comprehend this story because I didn't understand it either until the last day of the forum.

A man is sitting in prison on death row. He is at his final hour. He knows he is going to die. Put yourself into this place and image how you would feel at that moment. What would you be thinking in the last hour before you were scheduled to die?

Now imagine that someone came in to the room and said, "I am sorry but we made a mistake. You are not the guilty person. You are free to go..."

How would you feel at that particular moment? How would your life be affected?

This is the experience of a transformation and this is exactly what you get at the Landmark Forum. I wake up every day with a smile on my face. And I wanted to share the experience with all of you (especially Joe )

I suggest you watch the movie "Karate Kid." That movie describes the Landmark forum in a nutshell. Instead of teaching you how to use karate, Landmark teaches you how to get ANYTHING you want for your life.

Remember in the movie how the Karate Kid's opponents knew all the right "techniques" but lacked heart and conviction? They could not beat the karate kid with just moves. He beat them with a mental state of being.

Landmark teaches you the moves plus they go to work on the other areas of who you are being in life.

Landmark's "curriculum for living" is a technology that has been developed over several years by thousands of people and some of the brightest thinkers of our time. It is a technology similar to karate.

There are particular things you need to know before you become effective at karate. Can you learn karate in your bedroom without having any instruction? This forum gives you the moves of the karate of life!!!

I have recently been discussing the Landmark Forum with Twisted. We were in the wrong forum so I decided to move it here.

I want to be totally clear about something for the sake of honesty. Several months ago I ended all contact with Landmark and I even told them if they didn't stop calling me I would sue them for harassment....However, I readily admit that Landmark education is a life enhancing experience and totally worthwhile. Most people who attend Landmark do not follow the eventual path that I have chosen.

Why did I tell them to stop calling? Landmark becomes a part of your life and they call you constantly to try and get you to sign up new members. You always have the right to say no but they try to convince you otherwise. I decided to fly my own path. We all make choices in life and I made a choice. I can go back to Landmark at any time. There are no limits because every moment is new.

Does this mean that you shouldn't attend a landmark forum? I would say wholeheartedly that I believe that EVERYONE should attend at least once in their lives. Getting a transformation is like getting a piece of candy except when you have a piece of candy and you share some of it you end up with less. When you have a transformation and you share it you get more. The more you share the more you get. It is a strange feeling to share something and get more in return.

Landmark does not make you give up your family or friendships. In fact, they bring you closer to your family than you could ever imagine.

Warm fuzzies?...You are thinking in terms of what you get through religion.

Transformation is much different. I didn't purchase happiness and I don't "give" anything.

Makes me think about being at mass last Sunday.... the priest was talking about how people spend tons of $ on books, conferences, etc. to find happiness..... well, guess what? It's all in the BIG BOOK and you can find those for free everywhere. True peaceful spirituality vs. purchased happines?????

Right. The church is the ONLY place to find happiness. In fact, any other place you look is rebuked by them as coming from Satan.

Your mind is so locked up by propaganda that your eyes don't allow you to see.

You are afraid of getting involved in a cult...why? Me thinks it is because of your religious training. They are scaring you to keep you in line.

Getting back to the idea of giving...by your definition, giving involves sacrifice. The more you give of your money, time, etc...the less of it you have. You sacrifice for a greater good which makes you a better person in the eyes of God. ..right?

When I share a transformation with you I am not suffering myself but your transformation brings you joy which spreads to the people around you. You are more connected to your friends, family and, even to your church. Not less.

The only thing you lose is your time and some of your money...it only takes a weekend. Will you suffer due to the loss of either? If the loss of money will make you suffer how much of your happiness is tied up into money?
