It doesn't matter if they reform the laws, people already have access to guns through local affiliates...example--gangs, mobsters, loan sharks, parents, friends, ect. No matter what laws are enforced people are going to have guns available to them.

I honestly think that no matter what we do, people are going to get guns the way they are getting them today. No one is going to stop the guy on the street or in his home from selling firearms. It sucks, but it's the truth. If someone wants/needs to get a firearm and they can't get it through the normal channels..they will find a way.

No I don't feel that the number of illegal guns on the street would lessen. If they ban guns it's going to heighten the longing for guns. It's kind of like when they banned alcohol-- the people struck out and started bootlegging it. I believe that the same effect would happen. It's one of those extremes that people would do just to see if they could get away with it. Besides the government would have to reform the constitution. It does state in the constitution that we the people have the right to bare arms. Does it not?

You know better than I do that laws , depending on who is reading them , have a different meaning.
They would find a way to fit that in if they wanted too..... But "unfortunately" I would have to agree with you with the whole smuggling statement you made. Even better I would have to agree with a statement that Comedian/actor Chris Rock made.. something to the effect of : "make bullets exspensive!!....make them were they cost $1000 each...... "

Exactly....Wow Joe we actually agreed on something. I had better mark this one on the calendar....that simply does not happen. Oh well, I'm not going to look that horse in the mouth.

Don't think so...I am still a bit off and always will be. shock therapy does it to everytime especially when Joe is the one administering it.

Gun Laws
It doesn't really matter how many gun laws you make or how hard you make it to get them, criminals don't obey the law anyway so a law is not going to stop them, they'll obtain it illegally and use it illegally.
