A week off for state employees?
So what are the solutions for our ailing budget?
I guess one of the temporary fixes would be to "lay-off without pay" state employees for one week. Thats still in the works and all conditions and such are not final. Im thinking.... yes this might work this year to cut some costs and meet goal. But how will they prevent the same situation next year? I see TAXES getting involved , no matter if we like it or not.... so what is it going to be? a) State Income Tax b) Sales Tax c) Luxury Tax d) all of the above ....and then some |
