Insurance / Benefits
Ok, This is what I noticed so far....
Finding a good job with Benefits is getting harder and harder, Medical/Hospital Bills are getting more expensive... Yet, they expect a person that makes minimum wage,(or a few bucks more)and that does NOT meet requirements for Medical assistance programs to pay the entire expenses. On the other hand we have people making 60K - 100+K a year, with full coverage etc etc etc. Now....I dont know you guys, but I think that the above mentioned 60K-100K+ people would have a better chance, or would have more funds to pay these bills off. Anybody? ![]() |

Ya you know you can make that kind of money working at "SPEEDWAY' right Joe? It's going to cost me $57 a week to insure my son and I, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Having insurance will save me more money than not having insurance. How doyu think that those who amke $50k a yar are able to actually have a little oney?

This is something that actually infuriates me. When we first moved here to Lansing, my daughter broke out hives for no discernable reason, so we took her to the emergancy room. Bethany was given a dose of benedryl and we were told there wasn't going to be much of a wait because it was Sunday and they were slow. THREE HOURS LATER the doctor came to see Bethany, who no longer had hives thanks to the benedryl.
I have been charged $395 for this. On the bill, I was charged $7 just for the single dose of benedryl. It's utterly ridiculous. |

I agree michele look at what just happened to me. I can guarantee that my bill for the ambulance ride, ER 9 hour visit,a nd my wonderful 2 1/2 day stay would have run me oh.........somewhere around $10,000 easily. Luckily I goot insurance a whole week earlier. WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I truely wasn't expecting to use my insurance so quickly but hey I met my deductible, right.
